The entry window for the first Surrey Digital Awards is set to close in one month today.
Applications have been pouring in for the inaugural SDAs – backed by the Surrey Mirror newspaper group – which has been launched to celebrate the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across the county.
With ten categories and an entry system which takes less than two minutes to complete, the SDAs has built-up an outstanding following since launching in July this year.
Andy Pritchard from Premio64, the organisation behind the awards revealed he is “staggered” by the volume of entries received and is gearing up for a good many more before the closing date on January 9, 2015.
He added: “The way that people have taken to the SDAs as an exciting new and relevant awards has been breathtaking.
“But there is still time to make an entry, for free, through our website.
“The extensive publicity and publicity to be had for winners and finalists through our media partner, the Surrey Mirror group, and our own website is massive.
“And think about how winning an SDA could transform you public relations opportunities and boost staff morale.
“Do not delay, if you haven’t made an entry yet there is still time, and it could be well worth it”.
There are ten categories including “Website”, “Responsive Website”, “Blog”, “Use of Social Media for Business”, “Use of Video for Business”, “Online Marketing Campaign”, “School, Education or Charity Website”, “Small Business Website”, “Online Business” and “Mobile App”.
Gold, silver and bronze awards will be presented at the Winners’ Evening at Holiday Inn, Woking, on March 5, 2015.
